Disaster Management and Preparedness - Natural Disasters have always been the underlying factor that uproots of shapes human civilization. Currently, on account of the high population, growth and the consequent urbanization, the impact of these phenomena is more intrinsically felt. While flood and drought are the most common occurrence, landslides triggered by natural causes such as substantial rainfalls, cloudbursts, earthquakes and volcanoes, gravely impact the human settlements.
